International Research Collaboration
HOPPE is committed to strengthening hematology and oncology research through international collaboration, mentorship, and academic support. Through HOPPE Research Initiatives (HRI), HOPPE partners with leading organizations, including the Pakistan Society of Hematology (PSH) and Practice Changing Updates in Hematology, to support young investigators, promote scholarly work, and recognize high-quality research from Pakistan and beyond.
HOPPE Research Initiatives
Through HRI, HOPPE supports research abstracts, oral presentations, poster presentations, early-career research awards, and academic scholarship opportunities. These initiatives are designed to encourage fellows, trainees, young faculty, and practicing physicians to participate in research and present their work at national and international academic platforms.
HOPPE has contributed financial support toward research and oral presentation awards, including support for Practice Changing Updates in Hematology and PSH-related academic meetings.
HOPPE Young Investigator Awards
HOPPE is proud to sponsor the HOPPE Young Investigator Awards at programs such as PAPCON, HaemCon, PSH meetings, and Practice Changing Updates in Hematology. These awards recognize promising researchers and encourage the next generation of hematology and oncology investigators.
In recent programs, hundreds of abstracts have been submitted from Pakistan, with selected participants receiving HOPPE-sponsored awards for outstanding oral and poster presentations.
HOPPE-PSH Collaboration
As part of the ongoing HOPPE-PSH collaboration, HOPPE supports research abstract awards and presentation prizes at PSH academic meetings. This collaboration helps create more opportunities for young physicians and researchers to present their work, receive recognition, and engage with leaders in hematology.
Practice Changing Updates in Hematology
HOPPE also supports the research component of Practice Changing Updates in Hematology, helping promote academic participation, abstract submission, oral presentations, and research recognition. This platform brings together physicians, trainees, researchers, and experts to discuss important updates and emerging practice-changing developments in hematology.
HOPPE Early Career Research Award
HOPPE will continue to sponsor research opportunities through the HOPPE Early Career Research Award, focused on supporting early-career physicians, fellows, and young faculty who are developing research skills and contributing to hematology and oncology scholarship.
Future Research and Clinical Trial Support
HOPPE is also working to build research infrastructure, support multicenter collaboration, and explore opportunities for prospective clinical trials. These efforts aim to strengthen research capacity, improve clinical documentation and quality improvement, and support meaningful advances in cancer care.
Our Goal
Through these international collaborations, HOPPE aims to promote a strong research culture, support young investigators, encourage global academic exchange, and help build sustainable research pathways in hematology and oncology.
These initiatives are made possible through the generous support of HOPPE members, donors, and partner organizations. Together, we are creating meaningful opportunities for young researchers and helping strengthen the future of hematology and oncology care.
