Dr. Kiran Naqvi is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of California, Irvine, where she is an integral member of the UCI Health cancer care team. She is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist with broad clinical expertise in the management of solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, with a strong focus on delivering evidence-based, patient-centered cancer care.

Dr. Naqvi earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Dow Medical College and her advanced training in Hematology Oncology and specialized training in Leukemia at Baylor College of Medicine and University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Tx where she also served as a faculty before moving to California. She has also earned a Masters in Public Health, reflecting her dual commitment to individualized patient care and population-level health outcomes.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Naqvi is actively involved in clinical research, medical education and mentorship, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows at UCI. She is known for her dedication to trainee development and her emphasis on compassionate, culturally sensitive oncology care. Her academic interests also include quality improvement, outcomes research, and the integration of public health principles into oncology practice.
