Sairah Ahmed, M.D

Sairah Ahmed, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Lymphoma/Myeloma at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she also serves as the Director of the CAR T-cell Therapy (CART) Program. After earning her medical degree from Khyber Medical College in Peshawar, Pakistan, Dr. Ahmed built an extensive career at MD Anderson, previously serving as an Assistant Professor of Stem Cell Transplantation and as the Inpatient Medical Director for Lymphoma/Myeloma. A recognized leader within the institution, she has contributed to academic governance as a Faculty Senator and continues to advance the field of cancer medicine through her specialized focus on cellular therapies and hematologic malignancies.
